A mobile app set to enhance the event experience
Event Genie™ is a multi-platform mobile app designed for use at events and provided by organisers, usually free of charge.
What is it and how can it be used?
Event Genie™ allows delegates to access key event information, news and updates throughout their attendance, enhancing their overall experience.
Multi-lingual speaker biogs, exhibitor profiles, forms, venue maps and floorplans can all be uploaded, along with QR code readers and a notes facility that allows users to take text, voice or photo notes and attach them to sessions, exhibitors or other attendee profiles. Relevant topic, event or speaker related tweets can also be displayed, with the live feed being moderated by organisers.
How does it work?
Built around core modules, Event Genie™ also allows event producers to select optional modules via a content management system (CMS) interface. The app is controlled using the CMS, with push notifications delivered to delegates over either a 3G or WiFi network to advise them about news, itinerary updates, promotions ready for download and more.
